Went to get an oil change, have had issue since. First the didnt bolt down airflow box was disaster driving on hwy. Car then ran rough even after we fixed it. Took back next day said nope everything is fine must be something else. Funny bc somehow my transmission fluid was empty but they didnt do it. Every single person and 3 mechanics all said we are fools for taking it here. Including a 4th mechanic who use to work at take5 who mention how he has seen it happen where someone has released tran plug. Do yourself a favor avoid all if you like your car.

The team on w 117 is top-notch. May always go above and beyond to make sure that I leave there with a well running car. They take pride in their work and make sure to keep a positive atmosphere at the shop. Thanks for all you do

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel like I owe it to others to be honest about my experience here. I’ve been a Take 5 customer for a while and never had an issue until my oil change at this location in June 2026. During the service, the cabin air filter housing was screwed back in through my wiring harness, damaging my wires and causing multiple lights to stop working on my car. The dealership confirmed this was the cause of the damage. When I returned to the shop the same day to report it, I was laughed at and told it was a freak coincidence. After getting the dealership’s diagnosis, I came back with documentation and spoke to the store manager, who said he submitted a claim on my behalf. A week later I heard nothing, and when I called Take 5 customer service I found out the claim was never submitted. I had to follow up myself directly with customer service to get the process started. To their credit, once the claim was in the system it was handled professionally and I was reimbursed. But being laughed off when I first raised the issue — and then having the claim dropped without notice — added a lot of unnecessary stress to an already frustrating situation. I

Went in for an oil change & for them to take a look at & top off my fluids yesterday. Staff was very friendly & nice. But I was told they topped off my coolant & this morning my car overheated because it didn’t have coolant in there. As friendly & nice the workers where I’d never go back to a Take5! 107$ for the service & less then 24hours later my car brakes down after your shop was the last to look & take care of my car! Lesson learned never again! Nice staff, just don’t kno what they doing

These guys helped me in a pretty rough situation. I usually change my own oil. But a few weeks ago I did an oil change and made a huge mistake and ended up leaking oil out of my car. So I brought the car to them. They were able to quickly figure out the probelm and solve it right away. They were also very good at educating me about the situation. Very cool and professional. I might be bringing my car here from now on because I'm running out of time and patience to do oil changes myself. At any rate, I'd highly recommend this location.
